On behalf of Benha University; Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University congratulated Prof. Gamal El Saeed, the former University President for the confidence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to appoint him as a member at People's Assembly .

During his presidency of the University's Council of Deans, El Gizawy expressed his happiness with this choice, which confirms the political leadership's confidence in the university's professors and scientific expertise. Benha University has realized a new achievement and distinction for the first time according to Web metrics ranking where it ranked in the category 1515 among 31,000 University globally. Benha University has ranked 24 among 1216 University in the Arab World. In Africa, Benha University has ranked 26 from 1907 University and it has ranked 8 among Egypt's public and private universities that have been ranked in this edition.
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting President of Benha University said that Benha University has achieved a great progress at the openness and ranked 113 and it has also achieved progress at Excellence programs and ranked 112. In the same context, Dr.Shady El Mashad, the manager of E-portal said that the University has been ranked 4,832 globally according to Impact ranking where it achieved progress 61 place rather than July ranking 2020. Prof. Dr. Gamal Al -Saeed, Benha University President said that the Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics ) has announced its new ranking of 2021 indicating that Benha University has occupied the rank 948 where the University has achieved progress 133 comparing to its place 1117 according to July Ranking 2020.
Prof.Dr. Gamal Al -Saeed congratulated all the staff, employees and workers on the occasion of the new achievement and hopes more achievements and progress on the local and universal level. El Saeed also said that the new achievement is according to the new strategy of Benha University to improve its researches and researchers abilities.
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that according to that ranking, the University has maintained its world place occupied in 2021 with improvement in its performance at the citation and teaching, as well as the international outlook comparing with the previous year.

Al-Saeed also accomplished many projects such as completing and operating the new facilities at Obour Branch and also starting work at the new Specialized Hospital of Benha University. In his presidency, he could complete most of the academic and administrative structures of the University.
