Benha University succeeds in eradicating the illiteracy of 3,745 citizens in the January session. The university is among the top ten Egyptian universities in eradicating illiteracy among citizens, according to the report of the General Authority for Adult Education.

Prof .Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the university succeeded in eradicating illiteracy for 3,745 citizens, according to the results of the January 2026 session, which were announced by the General Authority for Adult Education
Prof . Dr .Nasser Al-Gizawy confirmed that the university ranked tenth among the Egyptian universities in eradicating literacy programs, according to the report of the General Authority for Adult Education. This ranking reflects Benha University's national commitment to achieving a high quality of life for citizens by eradicating illiteracy, thus fulfilling the goals of the Sustainable Development Plan (Egypt Vision 2030.)
The president of the university indicated that the university gives due care to the illiteracy eradication program and implements the project through its human resources, including faculty members and students, to eradicate illiteracy among the citizens of Qalyubia Governorate, under the supervision of the university specialists and project participants.
It is worth noting that the number of the registered participants in the session across the university reached 4,322, while the number of the attendees reached 3,798, and that 3,745 succeeded .
