Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President inspected Benha University Hospital to check the provided medical services at various medical departments. The visit was in presence of Dr. Mohamed Gamal El Ashhab , the Faculty of Medicine dean ; the general manager of Benha University hospitals , Dr.Amr El-Dakhakhny,the Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals, and Dr. Mohamed Shaker, the director of the hospital. Dr.Gamal Sosa inspected during his tour the second phase of the unified operations which included 7 surgical capsules with services and they are carried out according to the highest international quality specifications, as well as inspecting the intermediate care units, in addition to inspecting the renovations work in the economic rooms of the hospital. The tour also included a visit to the eye center; its units, operations, and clinics.
Benha University President met with a number of patients and listened to their opinions and their satisfaction with the medical services provided to them. During his tour, the President of the University reassured the regularity of the workflow and the presence of doctors during the evening shift in the reception and emergency departments to provide medical services for patients. Dr.Gamal Sosa added that the visit comes within the framework of following up the progress of work at the University hospital, developing performance and following up on renovations in order to provide good medical services to patients
Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President headed Benha university delegation to congratulated Major General Ghaleb Mustafa, on the occasion of appointing him as Minister of Interior Assistant, Director of Qalyubia Security. The companion delegation of Benha University has included Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students 'Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research and Dr.Mahmoud Maghraby ,the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs, Mrs. Shereen Shawqy , the Secretary General of the University. During the meeting, Dr. Gamal Sosa said that Benha University appreciates the important role played by the policemen and the Qalyubia Security Directorate in all its sectors in maintaining the security and safety of citizens, our students, and university facilities.
Prof. Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University president congratulated the Coptic Orthodox Church headed by Anba Maximus, the Bishop of Benha, Quesna, and Gerges Zaki, the Priest of the Church of the Virgin Mary in Benha on the Occasion of Merry Christmas.
The meeting was held in presence of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students 'Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research and Dr.Mahmoud Maghraby ,the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs and others. During the meeting, Dr.Gamal Sosa asserted that Benha University is keen on participating at Christian celebration and feasts as affirmation of the feelings of brotherhood and the spirit of love, loyalty, belonging and national unity among the spectrum of society. For his part, Anba Maximus thanked Benha University President and his accompanied delegation for their feelings and the spirit of love and loyalty, which achieves and stresses the national unity among the spectrum of society.
Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and he was accompanied by the Faculty dean and deputies of the Faculty. Prof. Tamer Samir confirmed on completing all the necessary preparations of exams and taking all precautionary measures between students and participants at organizing exams of the First semester at the Faculty. He also praised Faculty preparations for exams and taking all precautionary measures. It's worth mentioning that the Visit comes within the framework of the keenness of Prof. Gamal Sosa, President of Benha University, to follow up the work of the first semester exams and to provide all means of comfort and care for students.
Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President inspected the First semester exams at Faculty of Nursing and he was accompanied by Dr.Hanaa Abd El Gawad, the acting dean of the Faculty.
Dr. Gamal Sosa said that the tour comes within the framework of following up on the oral exams for the fourth year students and to make sure of while taking all measures that will ensure regularity of exams process. During the tour, Benha University President met the students and exams' supervisors inside exams halls to check their abide by the precautionary measures.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research has issued new ministerial decrees to renew appointment of several directors at Benha University.
Prof. Gamal Soussa, Benha University President mentioned that the ministerial decrees includes the following; Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim has got a renewal at his position as the general director of Legal Affairs at Benha University, Omar Mohamed Monieb has got a renewal at his position as the general director of Public Relations and Media and El Sayed El Moghawry Mohamed has been appointed as the general director of Faculty of Education. Prof. Gamal Soussa hopes for them best wishes and great success at their positions.
Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs has inspected the Dental Center in the Medical Administration and vaccination works and he was accompanied by Dr. Shereef El Mahdy, the general manager of the Medical Administration.
The Visit was within the framework of the keenness of Prof. Gamal Soussa, Benha University President to complete the system of vaccinating the University's employees and students with Corona virus vaccine in order to preserve their safety and to develop the provided services by the University.
A delegation from Benha University, headed by Prof. Gamal Sousa, President of the University, Dr. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, number of deans of faculties and students participated in the activities of the Second International Exhibition for Defense and Military Industries “EDEX”. Benha University delegation toured the exhibition pavilions, in which major Egyptian and international companies working in the field of defense industries participated with the latest equipment, technologies and security and defense systems.
It is worth mentioning that the second international exhibition for defense and military industries “EDEX 2021” was held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, where the opening of the exhibition was witnessed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Lieutenant-General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and a number of Ministers and military delegations from different countries of the world.
Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President received the student Ganat Allah Morsy, the student at the second year at Faculty of Physical Education who won the second place in the Intercontinental Traditional Karate Championships.
The meeting was held in presence of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs, Dr. Nasser El Gizawy , the Vice –President for Post Graduate Studies Affairs , Dr.Osama Salah , the Faculty of Physical Education dean and Dr.Khalid Essawy , the general coordinator of student activities . Dr. Gamal Sousa said that we are proud of such honorable models from students of Benha University, congratulating the student on the results she achieved during the championship activities, stressing that the university will support her in all the upcoming champions. Dr. Gamal Soussa stressed that Benha University is keen to support outstanding students and encourage them to engage in sports activities that create conscious, enlightened and productive youth who work for the benefit of their community and country.
Benha University organized a celebration yesterday on the occasion of International Anti- Corruption Day by cooperation with Administrative Control Authority (ACA). The celebration was held in presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President, Major General Abdel Hamid Al-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia ,Major General Khalid Abd El Latif , Head of ACA in Qalyoubia , Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Researches' Affairs,Prof.Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs , and Dr. Khalid Esawy, the General Coordinator for Students' Affairs .In his speech, Prof. Dr. Gamal Sosa confirmed that corruption is the scourge of all ages and it must be combated in all its forms and assured that anti- corruption must be a priority for all institution at all countries around the world whether it was developed or developing countries. He also added that corruption is the disease that must be treated to get rid of its negative effects.
For his part, Major General Abdel Hamid El-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia, said that the International Anti-Corruption Day is a real opportunity to raise the awareness of Benha University students', deepen their knowledge of issues related to preventing and combating corruption, to shed light on the dangers of corruption and its consequences for economic development in Egypt and the world too. He also added that Egypt has begun a new era of fighting corruption and will not accept the corrupt or remain silent about their failures, as the national strategy to combat corruption has been launched during the era of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. El- Hagan also said that Administrative Control Authority (ACA) exerts tangible efforts in combating corruption and that had a great impact in preserving state resources, preserving its prestige and the rule of law, and supporting political reform and sustainable development efforts to provide a better life for current and future generations.
In his speech, Major General Khaled Abdel Latif, head of ACA Office in Qalyubia, expressed his thanks to Benha University for their participation in the International Anti-Corruption Day celebration, noting that Benha University was a pioneer in implementing the objectives of the national anti-corruption strategy and an important model in educating students about matters related to corruption as they are the future and hope of the state.
