Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa , Benha University President and Dr.Amira El Tohamy , the Chairman of the Medical Sector Committee for Physiotherapy at the Supreme Council of Universities have witnessed the meeting of the medical sector on the level of Egyptian Universities which has been held at Benha University .
The meeting has been held in presence of Dr.Walid Tallat Mansour, the acting dean of Physical therapy Faculty at Benha University and other deans of Physical therapy faculties from other universities. In his speech, Prof. Gamal Sosa expressed his happiness that Benha University is hosting the meeting of the Medical Sector Committee for Physiotherapy at the Supreme Council of Universities. He also stressed the important role of physical therapy faculties in general and Physical Therapy Faculty at Benha University in particular, which is a new addition to the medical sector at the University and also It has important role in participating in student activities and medical convoys organized by the university to serve the people of Qalyubia Governorate. Benha University President was also keen to gift the shield of Benha University to Dr.Amira El Tohamy , the Chairman of the Medical Sector Committee for Physiotherapy at the Supreme Council of Universities as appreciation for her honorable person and the renewal of confidence in her as the head of the committee. For her part, Dr.Amira El Tohamy thanked and appreciated Dr. Gamal Sousa for the kind reception and hospitality.

Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has inspected University hostels at Kafr Saad.
The Sudden visit to the University Hostels at Kafr Saad was to be sure from standard of submitted services for students and to confirm on applying all precautionary measures for the safety of both students and workers as well. On the other hand, Dr.Gamal Sosa met a number of students inside the hostels to listen to their demands and he mentioned that Benha University is keen on providing a distinguished service of high quality especially residence , nutrition, housing, medical and social care.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected Benha University hostels to be sure from standard of submitted services for students, so he checked out the hostel's restaurants and food stores. During the tour, Dr. Tamer Samir stressed importance of providing all means of comfort to students inside university cities, and following-up implementing all preventive and precautionary measures in university cities, to maintain the safety of students and workers.

Benha University Board under presidency of Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has honored Dr.Hoida Sadeq , the Faculty of Nursing dean after ending her period as a dean for faculty of Nursing. The meeting was held in presence of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students 'Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research and Dr.Mahmoud Maghraby ,the general supervisor on Community Service and Environment Affairs, Mrs. Shereen Shawqy and other members of the board. On the other hand, Prof.Dr.Gamal Sosa has thanked Dr. Hoida Sadeq for her great efforts during her deanship which includes obtaining the academic accreditation in 2014 from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education which renewed last October2021. Benha University Board hoped for her best wishes.

Dr.Gamal Soussa, Benha University President inspected during his tours today faculty of Engineering Shoubra. Benha University President was accompanied by Dr.Ayman El Shahaby; the Faculty of engineering dean .
During his tour, Dr.Gamal Soussa confirmed that Benha University has completed all the necessary preparations of the new academic year. He also confirmed on taking all precautionary measures and wearing masks, as well as following-up sterilization and disinfection work and observing social distancing measures among students. He also met students and congratulated them of the new academic year and encourages them to do their best at their study and participate at student activities and initiatives.

Benha University has organized the closing ceremony for the Summer School for Space Science in its Second Edition by Cooperation with Egyptian Space Agency. The Ceremony was held under auspices of Prof.Dr.Gamal Soussa, Benha University President and Dr.Mohamed El Qosy, the Executive manager for Egyptian Space Agency. The Ceremony was held in presence of Dr.Gamal El Saeed, The previous President of Benha University and Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice President for Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students 'Affairs.
Prof.Dr.Gamal Soussa confirmed that the space science summer schools are one of the most important goals of the cooperation protocol that signed between Benha University and the Egyptian Space Agency, which aims to spread space science among Egyptian university students to graduate and prepare a qualified student for the labor market, raising the name of Egypt in all international forums. He also expressed his happiness with the success of the first and second Edition of the summer training schools which were organized by Benha University in cooperation with the Egyptian Space Agency.

Prof. Dr. Gamal Soussa, Benha University president has received a delegation from the Coptic Orthodox Church headed by Anba Maximus, the Bishop of Benha, Quesna, and their environs; in addition, Father Gerges Zaki, the Priest of the Church of the Virgin Mary in Benha to congratulate him after appointing him as Benha University President .
The meeting was held in presence of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students 'Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research. During the meeting, Dr.Gamal Soussa asserted the strong fraternal relations among the people of Qalyubia Governorate and the Egyptian people, which is evident in religious holidays and various national occasions.
