Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President congratulated Prof. Ahmed Taher Saleh Azar, the Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence for selecting him among the World's Top 2% of Scientists and ranked 623 from 215,114 scientists in the field of artificial intelligence.

It is worth mentioning that Prof. Ahmed Taher Saleh Azar has got recently "Shoman Arab Researchers Award 2020" on the subject of machine learning (computers) and major analytical data.
Under the auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed - Benha University President "BU", the University participated in the Virtual Forum for the African Higher Education Institutions which held by the Association of African Universities "AAU" at Alazher University.
Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, BU Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that BU was represented by Prof. Ahmed Youssef, the Director of the International Students Unit and Prof. Mahran El Naggar, the Director of the International Relations Office.
El Gizawy added that AAU is the voice of higher education in Africa and the Forum is considered an opportunity for consultation, exchange of information and cooperation between higher education institutions in Africa. He also said that the Forum aims to provide the opportunity for African higher education institutions to communicate and acquaintance by introducing each institution to itself in order to enhance cooperation between African higher education institutions and achieve the development for the African continent.
The Stanford University has released a list that represents the top 2% of the world scientists. The exhaustive list has nearly 160.000 scientists from 149 countries based on Scopus in 176 disciplines as the following link:undefined
Prof. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University "BU" President said that 14 scientists from BU have got 7 ranks in various scientific fields according to the list of Stanford University for World's Top 2% Scientists.
In this regard, El Saeed congratulated the University's scientists named in the World's Top 2% Scientists' List wishing more success for them during their careers.
Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, BU Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the appearance of some BU scientists in this international report is a significant achievement for the researchers of BU, as it indicates the quality of their research outputs, referring that the report depends on the Scopus database of Elsevier, which published recently in the PLOS Biology and classified into 22 scientific disciplines and 176 sub- disciplines.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with collaboration of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank "EKB" announced the launching of the Interdisciplinary Research Excellence Programme, which is a comprehensive capacity-building training programme to strengthen interdisciplinary research in Egyptian universities and to advance research integration and implementation in society to address complex real-world problems in Egypt, including achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. El Gizawy added that the programme includes interactive live sessions online which will combine expert content delivery with hands-on practical exercises and discussion through the individual and group activities. The Electronic Coordination Laboratories at Benha University has met a good response from the secondary school students for the procedure of electronic coordination to register their desires of joining the various faculties for the new academic year 2020-2021.
